About museum

The municipal budgetary cultural institution “Cultural and Leisure Center of the Tokarevsky District” realized the idea of the district deputy head V. N. Aidarov by establishing a museum in 2007, which began operating within the premises of Tokarevskaya Secondary School No. 2 on January 29, 2008. The museum's goal is to uncover the district's history and educate the younger generation by collecting, preserving, and augmenting material and documentary records. At present the museum houses nearly 2,000 exhibits.
