Museum of Medieval Warfare
About museum
In 2019 the Museum of Medieval Warfare was established by the research group called Laboratory 'Guardians'. It displays objects of culture and daily life from the High Middle Ages (11th–14th centuries), including tableware, clothing, and armor. All items have undergone hands-on testing. Here you can touch, taste, and try on everything on display, and you can also shoot a bow or throw a spear. Children will be interested in models of buildings, ships, mills, and a stable. Visits to the museum are possible only by prior appointment and by booking a guided tour. Prices: children – 300 rubles, adults – 500 rubles, and groups of 5 or more – 250 rubles per person. Museum staff will explain all aspects of life during that period.
