Museum of Russian Everyday Life "Po Susekam"
About museum
Each object preserves the warmth of someone's hands, heartfelt conversations, and the significant events of those times. In traditional museums it is hard to come into contact with history. Everywhere there are signs saying "Do not touch", objects behind glass, and cordoned-off exhibits.
But how can you feel it if you don't touch?
How can you not hold a spinning wheel in your hands? Not run your hand over the embroidery of a rushnik (ceremonial towel)? Not sit at a loom?
That's why our museum "Po Susekam" allows you to touch everything!
Here you can pick up antique utensils, turn them over, handle them, and examine up close all the objects of Russian everyday life.
