About museum
In 1987, thanks to V. I. Abramov, a veteran local historian, the Local History Museum was founded. In 2008 the museum was named after him. Through the efforts of local historians and patrons, a rich collection was assembled, including more than 20,000 items on the region's history, ethnography, local crafts and applied arts. In 2008 the museum moved to a new building and was modernized to meet contemporary standards. Its scientific concept, logical layout of the exhibition, interactive tour elements, and the combination of archaeology and nature, household items, national clothing, furniture and creative works attract visitors of all ages and social backgrounds. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions and provides parking and rest areas for visitors. The museum suggests visiting other attractions in the settlement and the Alekseevsky District.
