Museum of Nature offers visitors a natural history exhibition containing more than 1,500 exhibits. The centerpiece is the complete skeleton of a female mammoth named Matilda, as well as the skeleton of a woolly rhinoceros, a reconstruction of a cave bear, and a figure of a baby mammoth. Visitors can see slabs with dinosaur remains found in the Kemerovo Region, as well as a curiosity rock with an amethyst and ancient fossils. For children there is a flight of digital bats in a recreated grotto of the Barsukovskaya Cave. In addition, all species of animals, birds, and insects of the Novosibirsk Region are represented here. The museum regularly holds temporary exhibitions devoted to natural history, photography, and the scientific projects of NSLHM staff.
