In this museum visitors can watch the lighting of Moscow's street lamps and even try their hand as a lamplighter or as a dispatcher at the outdoor lighting control panel. You can learn about various sources of light: from old oil, kerosene and gas lamps to modern electric lanterns. You can also see a large number of photographs showing views of the capital. Today this is probably the place to get the most information about Moscow's past.
