Museum of New Year and Christmas Toys
About museum
The museum's exhibition introduces the history of Christmas and New Year toys in Russia and presents almost 3,000 Christmas tree ornaments from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.

\r\nOn the trees rotating in the display cases are pre-revolutionary characters, Soviet polar explorers and cosmonauts, circus performers and athletes, airships and metro stations, Chinese lanterns and palace chandeliers, heroes of folk tales and literary works, and much, much more, evoking the most striking events from the history of the USSR.

\r\nIn a separate hall of the museum there are displays that tell about the celebration of New Year and Christmas not only in Russia, but also in countries that influenced the formation of traditions in our country: Japan and China, the USA, Finland and Germany.

\r\nIn the souvenir hall the creations of craftsmen from various Russian cities are exhibited. Skilled hands have created real wonders from birch bark, wood, ceramics, glass, fabric... And each creation contains a piece of the maker's soul; each one is unique.
