Kayum Nasyri Museum

About museum

This place offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in the history and culture of Tatarstan.
On February 2, 2002, a museum dedicated to the outstanding Tatar scholar Kayum Nasyri was opened in Kazan. It is located in the Old Tatar Quarter, in a house built by Kayum Nasyri's close relative — Mukhametbedig Khusainov. The museum presents the scholar's laboratory with instruments from that period, manuscripts and early printed books, as well as a family tree. It showcases the history and culture of Tatarstan, so visiting the museum is a wonderful opportunity for historical and cultural exploration.
