\r\nThe Karelian Front Museum — a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Karelia — is the only museum dedicated to the Karelian Front. It is located in the former headquarters of the Karelian Front, in a two-story brick school building from the 1930s. Around the building there are bomb shelters and artillery. The museum uses multimedia technologies, up-to-date museum methodologies and exhibition solutions. The exhibition tells about the difficult natural-climatic and landscape conditions on the front, as well as about Belomorsk, which during the war became the frontline capital of Karelia. The museum features ten halls, each devoted to a section of the front. There you can feel like those who fought in Karelia and the Arctic. The museum invites everyone to themed tours, classes and master classes, and to visit temporary exhibitions.
