\r\nThe Museum of History and Culture of the settlement of Malakhovka began its activity with early attempts to organize it on a voluntary basis and culminated in its recognition as a municipal institution. Here you can feel the atmosphere of the early 20th century and learn about the Malakhovka way of life. The first collectors of materials were history teacher V. A. Protoklitov and local historian A. N. Lovachev. In the late 1970s a room for the museum was allocated in the "Shakhter" club of the Malakhovka Experimental Plant. In 1996 it was registered, and in 2003 the first exhibition opened. Today the museum houses more than 15,000 exhibits despite its small area. All topics of historical research are represented here.
