On March 21, 2018 a branch of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore — the Museum of the History of the Financial System of the Yenisei Governorate — Krasnoyarsk Krai became open to visitors. The museum was established by the staff of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore with the support of the Ministry of Finance of Krasnoyarsk Krai and is housed in the ministry's own building. The exhibition is devoted to more than 200 years of the history of financial administration in Russia, beginning with the Manifesto of September 8, 1802 by Emperor Alexander I. The museum presents the activities of the financial authorities both within the broader history of the state and through the lives of the people involved in these events. Visits to the museum are possible by prior appointment only, and there is a break from 13:00 to 14:00.
