About museum

The Panfilov Heroes Museum is located in the village of Nelidovo and is dedicated to the feats of the soldiers and commanders of the Panfilov Division. The museum exhibits portraits of Heroes of the Soviet Union, documents, letters, weapons, and personal belongings of the heroes and veterans. In 1975, a memorial complex was opened near the village with six ten-meter-tall figures holding automatic weapons and grenades. Near the village there is a mass grave of the Panfilov heroes, whose memory lives forever in people's hearts.
