About museum
In May 2021, the Museum of the Special-Purpose Garage opened at VDNKh in Moscow, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Federal Protective Service of the Russian Federation. The museum displays more than 50 exhibits of unique automotive and motorcycle equipment: the cars and motorcycles of Emperor Nicholas II, vehicles and motorcycles of the leaders of the Soviet state and modern Russia, as well as AURUS executive-class cars. It features educational and gamified driving simulators, interactive exhibits, displays on the history of automobile headlights and license plates, and cutaway models of components of GON retro cars. The museum hosts lectures on the history of automobile engineering, industrial design, and other engineering disciplines.
