Fatikh Karim Museum
About museum
In connection with the 30th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War in 1971, at the request of the public and the workers of the Dema kolkhoz, a museum of the soldier-poet and poet-patriot Fatikh Karim was opened in the village of Aitovo. In 2007, with the support of the administration of the Bizhbulyaksky District, a bust of Fatikh Karim was installed. In 2019, as part of the Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Bashkortostan, the poet's museum was reconstructed and re-exhibited in connection with the 110th anniversary of Fatikh Karim's birth. As a result, an annex was built and the museum's area increased almost threefold. The museum's collection contains more than 300 exhibits, and it attracts over 2,000 visitors annually. The museum has three halls: the first is dedicated to the poet's biography, the second to commemorating his name, and the third to ethnography and rural life of the early 20th century. The Fatikh Karim Municipal Museum has existed in the Bizhbulyaksky District since 2006.
