Museum of the Dzerzhinsky District 'On the Kamensky Trakt'
About museum
The museum is located on the ground floor of a building constructed in 1952 in the Stalinist Empire style; it is a cozy, if somewhat ornate, structure. Here, collectors carefully gather and preserve the history of the Dzerzhinsky District, offering visitors captivating stories about the 'heroes from our yard.' The museum hosts exhibitions in which the main protagonists are the cherished stories that form the narrative of the tour. It also holds guided tours and civic-patriotic events for schoolchildren, students and young people, as well as Dzerzhinsky District projects 'Video Chronicles' and 'Audio Chronicle,' the 'Memorial of Novosibirsk Glory' and other events with veterans, long-time district residents and community veterans' organizations.
