Museum of the Peoples' Friendship in Klimovo (urban-type settlement)

Klimovsky District is located in an extraordinary place where the borders of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus meet. The museum displays a collection of materials about the fraternal ties of the three Slavic peoples. Also exhibited are relics related to the first settlers of these lands: manuscripts and books of the Old Believers, icons, copper sculpture, engravings and much more. In the museum you can see the interior of a peasant hut, household items, tools of labor, implements and clothing. In addition, the cultural traditions of the first Klimovo inhabitants are presented here, such as gingerbread molds, shoemaking tools, steelyards and embroidery.
