Dacha of architect I. M. Golmdorf
About museum
The “Dacha Capital” Museum invites you to experience the atmosphere of dacha life of the 19th century and the Soviet period as it existed in the settlement of Siversky. Here you will find a local history museum located on the bank of the Oredezh River, in a dacha building constructed in the 1890s. It was the central part of the famed Siversky dacha area, which each year attracted about forty thousand summer residents (dachniki), including well-known figures from science and culture. The museum's exhibits feature items of dacha life from the late 19th century through the 1970s, including furniture and tableware from manor houses, estates, and even the pioneer camps of the Siversky area.
