The museum is dedicated to the ordinary Russian woman, who sometimes lived a very difficult life, yet created extraordinarily beautiful items — ritual towels (rushnyky), traditional shirts adorned with woven and embroidered patterns, and festive women's costumes.
The rich collection of costumes, antique spinning wheels, household items and domestic utensils offers an opportunity for deep immersion into the world of our ancestors, in which a special role was given to the woman — the homemaker, hostess, and a skilled, versatile craftswoman.
