Molodezhny Park

In 1976, to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (VLKSM), a park was opened that was named 'Park in honor of the 50th anniversary of the VLKSM'. In 1994 it was renamed 'Molodezhny' (Youth Park). Currently, a wooden log church has been built on the park grounds and a summer café operates. In addition, after the lake dried up during the hot summer of 2010, the rides were dismantled. Plans are currently underway to restore the lake and modernize its shoreline, as well as to equip the park with a sufficient number of benches and lighting points. In the future, Molodezhny Park will become multifaceted, filled with youth-themed elements and sports recreation facilities, and an open exhibition space for contemporary artists.
