About museum
In the spring of 1888 the young Alesha Peshkov, who later became the famous writer M. Gorky, arrived in the village of Krasnovidovo. He came at the invitation of his friend M. A. Romas, who in 1885–1886 opened a grocery shop and was actively engaged in revolutionary agitation. Alesha Peshkov spent several months here, and this stay in Krasnovidovo left an indelible impression on his memory. He described this period in his novella 'My Universities'.
