Memorial Complex of National Heritage named after Alexander Nevsky

About museum

Visitors will see six themed halls dedicated to Alexander Nevsky and Ancient Rus. They will experience the atmosphere of the Middle Ages thanks to light and animated multimedia augmented reality technologies. The main exhibits are artifacts from the rich collection of the Gorodets Historical and Art Museum Complex, including a pendant lead seal and an authentic princely helmet from the 12th–14th centuries. Here visitors can learn about the history and legends of Ancient Rus, as well as appreciate the scale of Alexander Nevsky's influence on Russia's history. All of this makes the tour a true journey into the past.
