V. V. Kamensky Memorial House-Museum
About museum
In 1974 the first literary museum of V. V. Kamensky in Perm Krai was opened, located in the house where the poet lived from 1932 to 1951. In December 2021 a new exhibition was presented, including items that entered the museum's collections in the 2000s–2010s, as well as the results of research by historians and philologists. In the poet's study on the second floor of the house, photographs of relatives and Eastern and Caucasian souvenirs appeared. Examination of archival materials made it possible to clarify some details of the furnishings: for example, in the study a 1940s sofa replaced the topchan (a low platform bed), and the typewriter from the shelf was moved to the poet's writing desk.
