Maksim Bogdanovich Memorial House-Museum
About museum
On December 9, 1992, a museum dedicated to the classic of Belarusian literature Maksim Adamovich Bogdanovich was opened in Yaroslavl. It is the only museum in Russia devoted to Bogdanovich's life and work; he was closely connected with two cities — Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl. The museum features a permanent exhibition, as well as temporary exhibitions, poetry evenings, and national holidays. Local residents, whose names deserve recognition, provided great assistance in collecting the scholarly material. Here you can learn about Maksim Bogdanovich's biography and works, immerse yourself in the color of Belarusian culture, view national costumes, learn recipes of Belarusian cuisine, and make a souvenir with your own hands. It is a wonderful place to gain many positive impressions and pleasant memories.
