Alexander Vasilyevich Panteleev (1932–1990) was a distinguished Russian artist of the second half of the 20th century, who had a significant influence on the development of art in Russia. His memorial workshop is a branch of the Vologda Regional Art Gallery and is located in a single-story brick mansion dating from the late 19th century. It houses his creative legacy, books, vinyl records, applied-art objects, gifts, and painting tools. Alexander Vasilyevich Panteleev's works are preserved in museums and galleries in Russia and abroad, as well as in private collections. He was not only an outstanding artist but also a teacher, orator, writer, and public figure. His creative work continues to inspire and draw attention to contemporary artists.
