Since January 2015 the All‑Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin has been operating an active Media Center — a multifunctional platform that combines traditional museum practices with the capabilities of modern technologies. Guests are provided with optimal access to unique items from the museum’s collection which, due to storage conditions, had not previously been available to visitors. Comfortable working conditions are provided for individual visitors and target groups, researchers and journalists. The Media Center offers an electronic exhibition of rare editions, virtual tours, films, presentations, webinars, videoconferences, multimedia programs, digitized editions of William Shakespeare’s works and film screenings. In addition, the Media Center participates in the creation and development of the museum’s virtual centers in regions across Russia.
