Malovishersky District Local History Museum

On April 19, 1991, the District Local History Museum was founded. It is located on the second floor of a two-story brick building, which is a monument of 19th-century architecture. This is the former house of the Kurzhenkov merchants, who established glassworks in Malaya Vishera. The museum's mission is to collect, preserve, study, and exhibit items of historical significance related to the history of the Malovishersky District. The museum features seven permanent exhibitions, as well as main and auxiliary collections comprising 8292 and 771 inventory items, respectively.
