Kumertau Historical and Local Lore Museum

The Kumertau City Museum brought together the museums of industrial enterprises. It features four sections: "Nature of the Region", "Ethnography of the Peoples Inhabiting the Region", "History of the City of Kumertau" and "Participation of Local Residents in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945)". It is not only a center for preserving historical and cultural heritage but also a cultural, leisure and educational center of the city. Children, school pupils, students, pensioners and middle-aged people visit it. The museum is also visited by foreign citizens and delegations. In 2020 the museum was renovated and reopened. The exhibitions use a compositional layout that highlights the main points and focuses attention on the aesthetic and emotional impact of the objects on the viewer. The museum is popular among the city's residents.
