Cultural and Exhibition Center "Raduga"
About museum
On March 23, 2000, the Cultural and Exhibition Center "Raduga" held its first presentation. A year later it was included in the All-Russian Register of Museums. In 2005 a Russian-Indian cultural and information center "Maharaja" with a 17th-century-style interior was opened in the CEC building. The hall's exhibits include decorative and applied arts, musical instruments, Indian costumes, and handmade dolls. In 2013 an information and educational center "The Russian Museum: Virtual Branch" was opened, which comprises 203 virtual branches in museums, educational institutions and institutions of additional education, science and culture in Russia and abroad. In 2012 the 100th virtual branch was opened in Antarctica. In 2014 the Raduga CEC opened a Resource Center for the creative development of children and youth with various physical and social abilities. The program offers the integration of school and museum into a single educational space.
