Krasnoyarsky District Museum
About museum
In 1970 a school museum was established at Krasnoyarsk Secondary School No. 1, and in 1973 premises in the military enlistment office building were allocated for it. By decree of the Executive Committee of the Krasnoyarsky District Council of People's Deputies, in 1989 the museum was reorganized into a historical and local history museum. From 2009 to 2011 it operated as an exhibition hall, and since December 27, 2011 it has been operating as the Krasnoyarsky District Museum. Its collections include more than 400 museum items, most of which reflect everyday life and ethnography. Three permanent exhibitions are on display, and there is also an interactive corner and periodically changing temporary exhibitions. The museum organizes various events as part of its activities: guided tours and talks, interactive, educational and environmental programs, quests, museum lessons, quizzes, etc.
