Krasnoarmeysky Local History Museum named after V.K. Egorov
About museum
In 1997, at the initiative of local historian V. K. Egorov, the Krasnoarmeysky Local History Museum named after V. K. Egorov was founded. It occupies the Cossack administration building built in 1880, and the first director was L. I. Kashina. Since 2011 the director has been T. E. Bobina. The museum's main goal is to teach patriotism and moral values by introducing the history and cultural life of Krasnoarmeysky District, as well as to collect and preserve antiquities. The museum building, covering 120 square meters, is divided into 3 halls: "Nature", "History and Ethnography", "History of the District". The museum's local history bulletins publish information about the district's cultural heritage monthly. As of 01.01.2021, the museum's collections reached 14,815 items.
