About museum
The museum hosts various events: lectures, seminars, tours, master classes, and exhibitions. The museum is housed in the building of the former two-class girls' school, which is a monument of history and culture and was built in the second half of the 19th century. The building is wooden, single-storey, and its window surrounds are decorated with carvings. The museum contains a unique collection of paleontological and archaeological finds, numismatics, as well as specimens of the fauna of the Siberian taiga. In total the museum has about 8,000 storage units. The museum space includes several halls: an introductory/information hall, a historical hall, a nature management hall, the G. S. Vinogradov Hall and a children's ethnography hall, as well as an exhibition hall. Various events are held at the museum on a regular basis: lectures, seminars, tours, master classes, and exhibitions.
