The M. A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve is a unique ethnographic exhibition that allows visitors to learn about life on the Upper Don. The stable opened in 2004. During the tour, visitors can see how the horses are kept and learn about the purpose of the various rooms. Museum staff run workshops on horse care and also demonstrate different types of equestrian sport. The coach house displays carriages from the time of the Civil War. Visitors can also ride horses or take a ride in a pleasure carriage. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet these beautiful and intelligent animals.
