\r\nThe museum is housed in the Vinokurov burgher house, a monument of 19th-century urban planning and architecture. The building's facades are adorned with cornices, interrupted bands, pilaster strips and keystones. Decorative elements borrow from Old Russian architecture, for example, "shirinki" and an ornament in the form of a "gorodok". The Kirzhach Museum hosts numerous events, including guided tours, individual visits, exhibitions, public events, lectures, talks, festivals, competitions and celebrations. It plays an important educational role in the patriotic and moral upbringing of youth and the younger generation, and its activities take many forms.
