In the new modern exhibition space, museum visitors can learn about various aspects of the history of Belomorsk Pomorye: the culture and everyday life of the Pomors, shipbuilding and seafaring, old Pomor settlements, the history of the construction of the White Sea–Baltic Canal and the development of the town. Assisting them will be not only experienced guides but also interactive maps, interactive tables and audio guides. Visitors can take VR tours 'From Soroka to Solovki' and 'Zalavruga'. At the center of the museum's Pomor culture exposition there is a large exhibition of local history literature, and with the help of two interactive tables visitors can explore materials on the history of the 'small homeland' — Pomorye — and a book of remembrance of residents of the Belomorsk district who took part in World War I, the Great Patriotic War, and local conflicts.
