The Chernomyrdin Museum is a place to learn about the biography of V. S. Chernomyrdin, as well as the history and culture of the Orenburg Region.

\r\nThe Chernomyrdin Museum is located in the village of Cherny Otrog in the Orenburg Region, where Russia's first Prime Minister V. S. Chernomyrdin lived and worked. It was established by presidential decrees of D. A. Medvedev and V. V. Putin. The museum buildings consist of a reconstructed former district committee of the CPSU and a new building. They house three museums: "About Chernomyrdin", "Chernomyrdin's Collections", "Chernomyrdin's Land", as well as a library, archive, theatre and concert hall, studios and creative workshops, hospitality facilities and an information centre. The museum's exhibits number over 25,000 items, including collections of paintings, weapons and vintage cars collected by V. S. Chernomyrdin. It also stores historical exhibits of Cherny Otrog and the culture and everyday life of the Orenburg Cossacks. The Chernomyrdin Museum is a place to learn about the biography of V. S. Chernomyrdin.
