\r\nThe municipal state cultural institution "B. M. Kustodiev Historical and Cultural Center" was opened on March 7, 1958. It occupies an area of 186.1 square meters and contains more than 900 items in its collection. The center displays photographs of the family of the artist B. M. Kustodiev, autolithographs, a palette, memorial materials and gifts from relatives. In addition, you can see 14 copies of B. M. Kustodiev's paintings. The exhibition "B. M. Kustodiev and the Ostrovsky Region" presents a collection of ethnographic and household items from the Ostrovsky region. You can also see household utensils and everyday items used by people from the village of Semenovskoye and nearby villages, including the famous Semenov lapti (bast shoes). The center features an authentic Russian izba (peasant log house), which will allow you to feel the atmosphere of the old villages where people lived and worked, making everything by hand. Here you can learn about the history and culture of the Ostrovsky region.
