Gribanovsky Local History Museum
About museum
The Gribanovsk Local History Museum was opened in 1985 to mark the 40th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Here you can find several themed halls, including a hall of peasant life of the 19th–20th centuries with household items and tools, and an archaeological hall with finds dating back up to 4,000 years. Of particular interest is a reconstruction of the burial of a warrior-nomad from the second millennium BCE. The museum houses about 500 exhibits reflecting the native region's history during the Great Patriotic War. It is an enjoyable place for visitors of all ages.
