Here you can explore an impressive collection of kimberlites and associated rocks and learn more about the riches of the underground vaults of our region and the country as a whole. The center's collection includes 400 specimens of minerals, rocks and fossil samples of flora and fauna, including items from the Kola Peninsula and the Spitsbergen archipelago. A special place is occupied by the center's collectible specimens — stunningly beautiful, eye-catching mineral formations represented by druses of quartz, fluorite, apophyllite and others.
\r\nThe interactive sandbox iSandBox will attract the attention of children and schoolchildren, allowing, by selecting modes, a visual presentation of terrain types, the diversity of natural objects and phenomena, and the ability to model their behavior under various conditions; moreover, working with the sandbox helps develop fine motor skills, coordination, imagination and memory, reaction, speech, a creative approach to tasks and creativity, ingenuity and logical thinking. The program for all the center's play activities and quests includes work with the interactive sandbox.
