The Khodynka exhibition hall was opened on October 15, 1987 and over the past 30 years has become one of the most important cultural centers of Moscow's North-West. Here visitors can become acquainted with cutting-edge contemporary art, both domestic and international. The exhibition hall's projects cover various genres and styles of contemporary art, including new media, sound art, video art, science art and experimental theatre. In 2014 Khodynka was incorporated into the Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow." In 2019 the gallery relaunched in a new format with an emphasis on international exhibition, research and educational activities, intercultural dialogue and the integration of Russian art into the international environment.
