About museum

Artefact Gallery was founded in 2003 and is one of the leading private galleries. Up to 10 exhibitions are held here each year, along with solo shows by young artists, charity auctions, themed round-table discussions and other cultural programs. The foundation of the gallery's collection and endowment consisted of items from the collection of the gallery's founder, M. Rudyak. One section of the gallery houses a permanent exhibition of Soviet realist painting. The gallery displays more than one hundred museum-quality works of Russian, Western European, and Eastern art. In addition, an annual exhibition features the best works by students of the school at the S. G. Stroganov Academy.
