About museum

The Artefact Gallery was founded in 2003 and is one of the leading non-governmental galleries. Up to ten exhibitions are held here each year, along with solo shows by young artists, charity auctions, themed roundtable discussions and other cultural programs. The gallery's collection and fund were built on exhibits from the collection of its founder, M. Rudyak. In one part of the gallery there is a permanent display of Soviet realist painting. The gallery presents over one hundred museum-quality exhibits of Russian and Western European art, as well as art from Eastern countries. In addition, an annual exhibition features the best students from the school at the S. G. Stroganov Academy.
