In 2014, artists Vladimir and Albertina Ariskin founded the Ariskin Studio Gallery of Contemporary Art, which immediately won the approval of artists, gallerists and audiences. It serves as a cultural space for contemporary artists where exhibitions can be held, current issues discussed and master classes conducted. The building that houses the gallery is very interesting and significant to the city's history.
