Belgorod Gallery of Photographic Art named after V. A. Sobrovin is a municipal budgetary cultural institution established in 2008 thanks to the initiative of the well-known Belgorod photographer Vitaly Sobrovin and with the support of the local community. The gallery is intended to promote contemporary artistic photography, to present photographic collections from state centers and museums as well as from private collections. Its main focus is on researching and promoting the creative legacy of Belgorod photographers and supporting young photographers. The gallery organizes regular exhibitions, offers photography education, conducts research and publishing activities, and forms a general collection on the history of the development of photographic equipment and photographic art.
