About museum
Among the apartment blocks of a residential district of St. Petersburg, the wooden building of the Museum on Bolotnaya looks like a small fairytale tower-house. Since 1998, it has hosted play sessions, celebrations and creative workshops attended by thousands of the city's children. All this is made possible by authentic historical reconstructions that turn each session into a museum performance. Because of its connection to events and notable figures of the revolutionary era, this cozy wooden house, decorated with carved balconies and a turret with stained-glass windows, has managed to survive to this day.
