Children's Museum Center, Perm
About museum
The Children's Museum Center is a place where children and their parents can feel like creators. It was opened in 2015 on Permskaya Street in Perm, in the building of a former 19th-century tenement house. It features two exhibitions: 'Selenite Room', dedicated to the gypsums of the Kama region and the lapidary craft of Perm Krai, and 'Neighbors', about the city's animals. Interactive tours, workshops and games are also held. Child-friendly guides are available at the museum to help children understand the history and specifics of the exhibitions. Every weekend there are classes and events for children and adults where they can try their hand at lapidary art, explore minerals and discuss environmental issues. All activities are held in the spirit of creativity, communication and interaction with museum exhibits and art materials.
