About museum
On December 2, 1983, the museum of Nikolai Alekseevich Voznesensky, a prominent political and state figure of the Soviet period, was opened. It is located in the house where N. A. Voznesensky once lived. The opening of the museum was preceded by a long and thorough local history study. In 1974, a district local history museum was organized in the settlement of Chern with an area of 50 sq. m. The museum conducts guided tours, local history readings, master classes, interactive museum lessons, themed meetings and events such as "Night at the Museum", "Night of the Arts", holidays and meetings with interesting people. The museum exhibits items from historical, archaeological, local history, ethnographic and art-history collections, as well as traveling exhibitions from the collections of other museums and private collections of residents of the Chernsky region.
