In 1989 the Taman Archaeological Museum was opened to present the results of the excavations. The museum's artistic design was executed in the antique style according to a project by V. V. Gavrilov. In addition, the museum's lapidarium houses a collection of Khazar tombstones that attract visitors' attention.
