Diamond Fund

In the exhibition 'Diamond Fund', opened in 1967 on the grounds of the Moscow Kremlin as a structural subdivision of the Gokhran of Russia, the treasures of the Diamond Fund of the Russian Federation are displayed. They constitute a collection of unique nuggets of precious metals and gemstones of historical and artistic significance, as well as a collection of unique jewelry and other items made of precious metals and gemstones. The collection, which undoubtedly ranks among the most significant and largest in the world, forms the most famous part of the State Fund's treasury.

\r\nThe Diamond Fund is a unique collection that has traveled a long path closely connected with the history of the Russian state; it consists of masterpieces of jewelry art from the 18th–20th centuries, rare gemstones, order insignia, nuggets of noble metals, representing enormous historical, artistic, scientific and material value.
