About museum
The House of Playing Cards is an innovative project of the museum-reserve that combines classical exhibition methods with elements of a multimedia show. In this project, the fusion of tradition and innovation gives visitors the opportunity to become acquainted with the fascinating and diverse history of playing cards. It presents more than 10,000 museum exhibits, as well as interiors styled in the manner of different eras. The combination of real museum objects and virtual elements allows for a detailed account of the development and history of card games, as well as the production of playing cards in Russia and in the countries of Western Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
