The Children's Museum of the Southern Urals is more than an ordinary museum. Here visitors can not only become acquainted with the exhibits but also take part in hands-on activities and lectures. The museum's uniqueness lies in the fact that children can independently explore the displayed items. Two reconstructions representing Russian and Bashkir cultures deserve special attention: a Russian izba and a Bashkir yurt. They are fully recreated life-size with real stoves, polati (raised sleeping platforms), original interior details, household items and tableware. Here children can gain unforgettable experiences and interesting knowledge.
