Allaikhovsky Museum of Tundra Nature and Hunting Industry named after D.A. Lebedev

\r\nMunicipal cultural institution Allaikhovsky Museum of Tundra Nature and Hunting Industry named after D. A. Lebedev is located in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The main goal of the museum is to fully represent the nature of the Indigirka tundra of the Allaikhovsky ulus, as well as to promote reindeer herding, hunting and fishing, which are the primary activities of the local indigenous population. The museum also seeks to stimulate interest in the history of the native land, and in the arts and culture of the peoples of the North. The museum houses departments of Allaikhovsky ulus history, nature, and ethnography. In addition, there is a branch "How Our Ancestors Lived" 17 km from the village of Chokurdakh. The Allaikhovsky Museum is the calling card of the Allaikhovsky ulus, and it is known not only in its home ulus, the republic and Russia, but also worldwide.
